privacy policy

This policy explains how Inner Superintelligence at innersuperintelligence.com handles information when you explore the archive and use its tools.

An art project, not an AI chat

Inner Superintelligence is an art project built around a personal archive. When you ask a question, the site matches your words to existing work in the archive. It does this in your browser. It does not send your question to an AI service or generate an AI reply.

What we can and cannot see

The website does not send us the questions you type on the homepage, what you write in Write or what you create in Sketch. We cannot read your questions, drafts, page names or drawings through the site. They are handled in your browser, and you can choose to copy or save your work to your own device.

Color experiments and audio processing also happen in your browser. These tools do not upload your creative work to us. Opening archive content still requests the relevant pages and media from the hosting service.

We can see general site-use and performance reports from Cloudflare Web Analytics, such as which pages are visited, which websites visitors arrive from and how quickly pages load. These reports do not show us your homepage questions, writing, drawings or recordings. The website does not email us your questions or creative work, either.

The recorder requests microphone access only when you choose to record. Recordings stay in memory until you choose Keep, which stores them in this browser’s local data so you can return to them. You can delete individual kept recordings or clear them all in Record. Clearing site data or browser storage removal can also erase them, so download a copy if you want to keep one independently. The site does not upload recordings or save them to an account. Copying or saving work uses your device’s clipboard, download or share functions. On supported devices, Sketch can open the share sheet so you can choose where to save or send the image.

What stays on your device

The site uses browser storage to retain a writing draft, Sketch pages, appearance preferences and your viewing history between visits on the same browser and device. Viewing history remembers your 500 most recently opened works, newest first. It stores work IDs, not the questions you typed or copies of the work. You can remove it with “clear history” in the history view.

Sketch remembers your pages, their names, drawings, shapes, text and any images you add in browser storage on your device. Deleted pages containing artwork stay in browser storage so you can restore them, unless you permanently discard them individually or all at once in Sketch. Earlier versions of Draw may also have stored a separate draft in this browser. Sketch’s confirmed “start fresh” action removes all Sketch pages, recoverable deleted pages and earlier saved drawings from this browser; it does not delete downloaded files or clear your other site history or writing drafts. Images you choose, paste or drop into Sketch are processed in your browser and stored locally with your pages. This creative work is not uploaded to us.

These local records remain until you change or clear them, clear the site’s browser data or your browser removes them. They are not an account or a profile held by us, and the site does not sync them between browsers or devices. Private browsing or browser storage settings may prevent them from being kept.

The site also uses tab storage and browser history for things such as invitation history, timer state, a locked color and your place within a tool. These usually last for the browsing session, though browsers may restore them when reopening tabs.

You can remove local records in your browser’s site-data settings. For Sketch, clearing this site’s data removes its saved pages, recoverable deleted pages and any earlier saved drawings. Save a downloaded copy of anything you want to keep first. Downloaded files and clipboard contents are separate and remain under your control.

Hosting and fonts

Cloudflare Pages hosts and delivers the site. Cloudflare processes technical request and connection information, which can include your IP address, requested URLs, browser or device information and traffic or security information, to deliver and protect the service. It may also produce service-performance and traffic statistics. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

The site loads fonts from Adobe Fonts. Your browser connects to Adobe to request them, which exposes your IP address and information about the font request and site hostname. Adobe states that its website font service does not set cookies to serve fonts and does not store the IP addresses it receives for font delivery. See Adobe Fonts’ privacy information.

These providers may process information outside your country. Their policies explain their retention, security and international-transfer practices. A color or other value included in a page URL may also appear in hosting request records or browser history; do not put private information in URLs.

Analytics, advertising and tracking

The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand visits, page views, referring websites and page performance. A small script sends page and performance information to Cloudflare. Reports can include the visited page, referring website, country, device type, browser and operating system. This analytics setup does not send the questions you type, your drafts, drawings or recordings to us.

Cloudflare states that its analytics beacon does not use cookies or browser storage. Its reports help us understand how the site is used and where its performance can improve. See Cloudflare’s analytics data and privacy information.

Web Analytics is configured with Cloudflare’s regional exclusion for the EU. Cloudflare applies this exclusion according to the location of the data center handling a connection, so it is not a guarantee based on a visitor’s residence or citizenship. The exclusion concerns analytics; the hosting and font requests described above still take place.

The site does not sell personal information or share it for cross-site behavioral advertising. Its own code does not use advertising cookies or cross-site advertising trackers. Cloudflare’s delivery and security services may use their own technical mechanisms, as described in its policies.

The site does not change its behavior in response to a browser’s Do Not Track signal. Browser storage controls still let you limit or remove local records.

Contact and your choices

The website does not send us emails about your activity. If you choose to email [email protected] directly with a privacy question, we receive that email, including your address, message and any attachments. Email services process it so we can respond. Correspondence is retained only as needed to handle the conversation and relevant administrative or legal obligations.

Depending on where you live and the information involved, you may have rights to request access, correction or deletion, restrict or object to processing, or complain to a data-protection authority. Use the email above for privacy questions or requests. We cannot remotely retrieve or erase work that exists only in your browser; you control that through your device.

Links may take you to other websites, including related projects. Their own privacy policies apply when you visit them.

This policy will be updated when the site’s practices change. The date above shows the latest revision.
